Interview surveys are survey methods that directly ask consumers and users about their daily lifestyles, the decision-making process up to the purchase of products, and the decisions they make when choosing products and services. This survey is a qualitative survey conducted to deepen the understanding of targeted consumers.

Interview surveys are classified into two types, “depth interview” and “group interview”, depending on the method. In “depth interview”, interviewers spend a lot of time listening to the subjects on a one-on-one basis. In “group interview”, multiple survey subjects are invited to gather and exchange opinions with each other to seek new discoveries.
